Ren noticed the scarred man, and while before he would have acted disgusted and be rude, he didn't have it in him to be mean. And thankfully he did pick up what the stranger likely meant. What with a finger subconsciously moving to touch one of his own cheeks near one of the two pointed canines. Being at least aware enough not to press hard so he doesn't accidentally injure the inside of his mouth.
