But there's a definite exhale of relief when the Gold vampire leaves him to his own entertainment for a while, shoulders slumping a little in tired resignation. Something he quickly banishes the moment he hears an unfamiliar voice speaking to him from behind. By the time he turns, his expression is carefully composed again into a polite and friendly smile, as if he hadn't been struggling with his own disappointment and frustration a moment before this student walked up.
Although he does arch an eyebrow in faint amusement at the statement - maybe with a hint of disbelief. ]
