[There were...far too many people in the hall for Estinien's tastes, honestly, both ones yet living and...otherwise. He was simply observing, watching for any initiates who decided they'd rather take their chances running for the door than standing firm in a room full of predators.
No one was trying it thus far. Pity, that might give him a reason to leave.
Any initiates who try to approach him find themselves on the recieving end of a harsh glare, ink-black eyes and a flash of fang strongly suggesting that they try their luck with finding a maker or conversation elsewhere. He's fully aware of the reputation of Black Court and certainly doesn't plan to ruin it by appearing friendly and accomodating. Even if he were so inclined.
Any teachers will get a nod of acknowledgement--though he's not quick to speak.]

[He almost snarls as a vine tries to wrap itself around his ankle, and swipes at it with the blade of his lance before kicking the remains off.
It's only a few moments before he has a window cleared and opened, foot up on the sill as if he's about to jump out - because he entirely is, he has completely lost patience with being in the castle walls with feral produce rampaging everywhere.]
