Satoru might kind of admit it's interesting how fast they're growing, in a purely academic way, but he's mostly here because he's bored and had nothing better to do.
"I wonder if eating the seeds means you'd have a full grown pumpkin bursting out of your stomach the next night," he contemplates, eyeing one of the nearby pumpkins like he's considering trying it. Or convincing someone else to do it. "Who's the nerd that grew these? We might have to consider that it's an assassination plan gone wrong."
