Hmm. [Norton crosses his arms first, thinking about what Lamorak just said, and what he mentioned earlier. They're painting a particular picture in that regard, and he's starting to recognise it.]

You're wary of failing it right from the start?

[Not "afraid". The thought of his novice being afraid is, frankly, ludicrous. But in every person, in his opinion, there's a certain dislike for failure and a desire to get it right the first time.

Especially when it comes to shapeshifting.]


Failure's part of the learning process-- you learn to undo what messes you've done to yourself and try again. There's no such thing as perfection.
