[Bones wasn't wrong. Something was making him hesitate, making him not complete the dream. He knows what that something is... he's scared of dying again.

He doesn't even think about it deeply, just accepts that he's scared of going through that fear and pain again. He would do it, but every time before that he hesitated the dream started over before he could do anything about it. Like the curse was forcing him through the trauma over and over again, not letting him complete it.

But Bones was right, maybe it was him that was hesitating, that was holding himself back from his own cure.]
