[Kirk knows when to put space between himself and another person and right now Bones seems to need space. So, when the vampire lets go of his neck, he retreats back a few steps before sitting back on the railing again. Watching the other as he licks and wipes at his mouth like he both wants the taste of him and doesn't, like Bones can't make up his mind. It's kind of flattering to see he threw the man for that much of a loop with a simple enough kiss.
