Trilla finds honesty refreshing, given the number of lies she's been told and has had to perpetuate to remain undiscovered by her father for so long. Besides, even at this age she was more curious than fearful; she had simply never wanted to risk losing the security she had for an unknown that would mean leaving her old life behind. Not until she was certain it would be worth it.
