It's wonderful! Same note though, if I need to edit please let me know!

[ Truth be known Lockwood and his Maker had long conversations about thralls. They recognized the importance of thralls to vampire culture. Both as a source of nourishment, and also as a way to keep vampire secrets from slipping back into human society. But neither of them were entirely comfortable with the process, or the implications.

Unfortunately, though they debated the topic strongly between themselves, they had yet to come up with any answers. That, and his Maker's more progressive stances in other areas, areas where they could make a difference, meant they had other battles to fight.

Lockwood didn't enjoy what he was expected to do, but he did his duty all the same. It had to be done, and at least this way he could assure himself it was done properly and with as little invasion of privacy as possible.

Had he been watching Elias, while Gold and Silver Courts worked side by side through the process? Was he down here now, purposefully seeking out Elias to check on him, or was it just a coincidence that Lockwood happened along this path? He'll let Elias, and anyone who spots him, draw their own conclusions.

What he does do is come up beside the big white dog, and with slow and careful movements -trying not to startle Elias- Lockwood reached for the bowl. He gently tipped it upwards, so that the bloodwine within could pool at the side; making it easier to lap up. ]

You look like you could use the full measure. [ Lockwood offered in his deep, quiet tones. ]
