Art As Therapy —
( CW: may contain heavy topics, warnings where appropriate )

- The primary purpose of this class is to let students explore their emotions regarding their becoming. A student can dive into what they find distressing or frustrating about their transformation process and work through some things. But, really, art can be therapeutic in general and a student's art doesn't have to pertain to their budding vampirism.

In this class, Conrad will stress that students don't need to know any art techniques and they needn't think of themselves as artistic or creative, either. They can just be and do as they wish. Conrad will help students pick what medium they want to use to express themselves, if they like, be it drawing, sculpture, collage, print-making, or painting. Or he can be more hands-off if a student prefers that.

During class, he asks his students to discuss their finished works, if they want, and he'll ask his students about their creative process as they're working. Or if a student just wants to create art as a means to feel fulfilled and de-stressed, that's all well and good, too. A student can share as much or as little as they wish, it's not like Conrad's going to push anyone to share anything they rather not divulge. His questioning will be along the lines of, "What would you like to discuss about this particular piece?"

And Conrad will allow students to work with him one-on-one if they don't want to create art in the classroom with other students around. He can give individuals as much time as they need. He's a pretty laid-back teacher, in general, and he's especially so in this particular class. He doesn't want to give his students anything new to stress about.

In The Studio and Office Hours —
( CW: possible nudity, blood )

- Conrad's other classes include Art Appreciation, Intermediate Painting, and Life (and death) Drawing. Feel free to sit in on a class or work on something artsy, even if you haven't signed up for any of his classes. And when Conrad isn't teaching he can be found between classes either grading his students' work or working on his own personal projects. Catch him when he has some downtime, share a drink with him, or come on in and criticize his art and make him crabby(er).

Do note that there will be depictions of artistic nudity in pretty much all his classes. His advanced classes focus more on the vampire masters and also portray a lot more gore and 100% real blood as that appeals to vampiric appetites and all. The art that is studied can also get more than a little saucy. And while Conrad is pretty flexible and mellow when it comes to his teaching style, if anyone disrespects the thralls that pose as live nudes he'll kick you out of his classroom without a warning. Acting like a total creep will get you a failing grade, keep that in mind.

Of Bats and Blood —
( CW: blood/bleeding )

- It's rather cliche, for sure, but Conrad turns into a small pudgy bat. Why is he so fat as a bat when he's such a skinny thing of a man? Who knows. It's a mystery. Anyway, even when it's not daytime Conrad can be found in his bat form looking like he's having a snooze, hanging from a rafter or chair or along the wall, somewhere cozy. But, actually, he's not asleep, he's just eaten too much. As a vampire bat he can consume quite a lot of blood for his size, but that means he has a hard time flying. So he has to relax while he digests. He'll try to climb up onto a perch, but if he can't he can be seen hopping along the ground heading for his suite, or just somewhere to hide out for a while. He is very small and when you're that size you kind of just want to get away from people as they're basically giants who could easily squash a little bat like him.

- Conrad doesn't consume blood as a bat too terribly often because, well, then when he turns back into himself he'll just be hungry again. He gets to feel nice and full for a while, but a bat can only drink a few thimblefuls of blood and he needs far more than that.

He gets his meals from the willing thralls, of course, but he doesn't always feel like biting them. So he'll ask them to bleed for him, collecting the blood in a vessel, like a chalice or what have you. Is that a rather strange thing for a vampire to do? Probably. While he may enjoy the act of biting, he's still picky about who he bites. He doesn't want to put his mouth on just any warm body. He's a little shy about the whole drinking blood from a cup thing, though. He expects it to be viewed as strange and he might receive some snide remarks or something. It's easy to catch him in the act, though. He usually feeds when he's particularly famished and he can be found in the basement kitchens requesting a hot cup of blood, waiting rather impatiently as his human drinking fountain fills it up.

Bad Romance —
( CW: sexy literature )

- Conrad really isn't one to read sappy romances or smut so much, but he ended up keeping a few of the steamy romance novels that the librarians gave out to everyone. Of course, he doesn't want anyone to see him reading them, however, so he has them hidden in his desk. But the fact he has a secret stash can be found out pretty easily. He's not great at hiding things and even if he tries to be stealthy he can be caught red-handed. He'll just try in vain to pretend he's not reading about forbidden human/vampire love or whatever. That's really the genre that intrigues him most. Though, he also kept one book that's about a tender yet tragic vampire romance between two fellows and one that's less romantic and more spicy featuring a strong, confident woman who can tie up her man and practically bends him in half. Definitely some interesting reads.

[Conrad had just been going over some portfolios, but that's not important. He looks up from his work, a little surprised to see her. Pleasantly surprised, though, as the corners of his mouth turn up in a slight smile as he stands to greet her.]

Oh-OH! H-hey, of course, I do.

[He remembers their previous conversation well. If they're going to do what he thinks they might do, maybe they should close the door.]

[Stepping into the room, she closes the door behind her, giving him a smile. Yes, he's not wrong and she very much thought the same thing. Afterall, she didn't mind an audience but that's not really what they are after. At least, she thinks he might implode a little if they did have one.

She could be wrong.]

Excellent. I hope I am not interrupting anything too important, wouldn't want to steal your time away from your students.

[Stepping over to his desk, she looks at what's laid out on it.]

[No, she's not wrong. He's not into being subjected to voyeurism. Or, well, he'd have to be very distracted or his self-conscience nature would have to be toned down somehow for him to be okay with it. Anyway... The fact she shut the door is a good sign, he thinks. Gives them some privacy.]

You're not interrupting, I was just going over some of my students' portfolios from the last life drawing class.

[Along with the student work, Conrad has a few of his own pieces laid out. Mostly they're of still life or landscape work, doodles from around the castle, and the like. But he has a few sketches of thralls that pose for his classes very unclothed.]

[Karma can tell rather quickly what's his work verses the students and tilts their head to look at it better, fingers gliding just above the page but never touching - she wouldn't want to smudge it.]

Your work is beautiful. Perhaps I could get a piece for my room one day.

[While they had art on their walls, it's been there for too long now, it would do to get some new are and refresh their decor a bit. Plus, who knows, maybe they could get a few nudes by him and give them to friends.]

Did you enjoy the Winter Sol?

[Conrad smiles meekly at her compliment. He knows his artistic ability is nothing to sneeze at, but he always doubts himself, as artists do. So it's nice to hear praise.]

Thank you. I'd be more than happy to do some work for you sometime. You'd just have to let me know what you have in mind.

[He shuffles a few of the papers around on his desk to organize them and get them out of the way, he doesn't want to mix up his students' work. The subject of the Winter Sol makes him pause, though, and he utters a faint huff.] I made an appearance. It's not really my thing. I'm not keen on dancing, so...

[He shrugs his shoulders and gives her a glance over the rims of his glasses.] I hope you enjoyed it more than I did?

Wonderful, I would love to commission you, your work is wonderful, truly.

[Of course payment would have to be some kind of trade since money was pointless here in Courtsheart, but that shouldn't be an issue, Karma can think of ways to reward his talents.]

I can understand that, it's not to everyone's tastes. Personally, I danced the night away and enjoyed myself quite a bit.

[Karma sits on the edge of the desk and watches him clear it with a smirk.]

Making me some room?

Th-thanks-thank you. You're being so kind, I don't get many commissions.

[Conrad would do work for her on the house, but... If she wants to repay him in some fashion, he's not about to refuse.]

Good to hear. And I'm sure you looked absolutely lovely. Uhm.

[A faint blush creeps into his cheeks as he looks from his desk to her and back again.]

I mean- [A light chuckle catches in the back of his throat.] Ah. Having an uncluttered workspace is rather important before we get started. So. How would you like to be situated?

[If she's going to pose for him maybe she had some idea as to how she'd like to do so?]

[Karma chuckles lightly, hands moving to unfasten their furred cloak.]

Just somewhere comfortable, I'm fine with wherever your artistic inspiration takes you, my dear. So just tell me where to go and how to pose, or even get your hands on me and pose me yourself.

[She gives him a sultry smirk at that before pulling the cloak off and being completely naked underneath, well all but her heels. Her eyes were glued to him, observing him for a reaction as she draped her cloak over a nearby chair.]

How would you have me?

[Conrad isn't one to stare, normally, but he's more than happy to get a good look at her. She's so close. A soft pleased sort of sound escapes his throat and he lifts a hand to adjust his glasses ever so slightly.

By way of his occupation, Conrad has had to get used to being around naked people a lot. It's required that his students master anatomy, and that's how he learned to draw the human form, in the buff. This is quite different from working with the regular models in the studio, though, and he's feeling differently about it himself.]

Oh-oh. O-of course. Uhm. [Somewhere comfortable... He skirts around her and gingerly moves the most comfy and nicest chair in his office to the center of the room. It's plush and covered in deep red velvet.] Would you like to take a seat for now? It'd be nicer than standing, I think. Definitely more comfortable.

[He'll offer his hand if she wants to take it and guide her to the chair.]

[Karma's smile grows into a grin at the sound that escapes his throat. Watching him move the chair, he was so considerate to actually take their request for being comfortable seriously. That's what made this so fun to Karma.

Founders, she was excited to hopefully get those clothes off him later.

Taking his hand, she gives him a smile as he leads her to the chair. Turning to him, she leans forward like she might kiss him, fingers finding his jawline, but ultimately, she sinks into her seat without anything more happening.]

Thank you, this is quite comfortable. Is there any pose you would most appreciate or whatever I might feel like?

[It might take some doing to get him out of his clothes. He's always sharply dressed, usually in layers. Though he's looking more casual for the moment since it's after hours, sporting a vest and fitted shirt with a high collar.

But, anyway, he couldn't care less about clothing for the moment when he's able to take her all in like this. He can feel all the little hairs on the back of his neck prickle as she's so close and touching him so intimately. But then he has to collect himself, clearing his throat as she takes her seat.]

Ah. How about we start off with you posing in whatever way you like? I thought I might do a few rough sketches then I can instruct you on how I'd like you to pose for me.

[He figures that should work well and he can get her from more than one angle. He quickly goes about gathering some art supplies from his desk drawer then, some pastels and charcoal, and his drawing pad. Then he'll move his chair to take a seat a few good feet away. Not too close, but close enough.]

[Well, clothed was fine too, it was always sexy when one partner was naked and the other not. Though usually Karma was in flipped position.

Crossing her legs, Karma leans forward taking a position not unlike this. Getting drawn was kind of really sexy honestly, she can feel herself stir with interest thinking about how his gaze will likely be so serious, seeing her almost more as an object than a person to desire.

But that was neither here nor there right now. She was interested in enjoying her time with him.]

Please do, I will happily take any position you want me in.

[Oh, he's going to take this seriously. But, at the same time, this isn't one of his normal life drawing sessions. He can feel the thrill of anticipation bubbling up inside him a bit.

He watches her for a moment, then abruptly gets out of his seat to approach and as gently as possible moves a few strands of hair along her shoulder. His fingers barely touch, but she does feel very nice beneath his fingertips.]

Just a minor adjustment. This is a gorgeous start. You look positively lovely.

[And he gets to work then, his eyes transfixed on her as he quickly sketches out her form in charcoal. He's been doing this long enough he can keep his eyes on his subject while only briefly looking at the page. After a few sketches, he purses his lips and looks from her to his drawing pad and back again.]

How about we do some where you're more... in repose? Relaxed.

Flattery will get you everywhere.

[She can feel the shiver along her skin at his touch, it was very pleasant. With a small wink, she then holds the pose, not having to breath allows her to be eerily still for him. Almost statuesque as she gazes at him. There was something about how he looks at her that was just perfect. Made her lust with anticipation, though where this would go she didn't know. It could be nothing and she would be just as satisfied.

It could be something and she would be satisfied in another way.

When he speaks again, she blinks and then stretches back a little, reclining in the chair. One hand stays posed up by her head while the one trails down along her body, fingers tracing her body before resting on top of one of her breasts.]

How about this?

[A knowing hum escapes his throat and his lips curl into a smile at that wink. He watches her intently as she leans back, quite enjoying every time her fingers stroke her skin and every little movement she makes.]

That's very good. Natural and inviting. I really do appreciate having you as a model. You're quite exceptional.

[Really, he does prefer a vampire subject for a change. There is something to be said for having a model who can hold a pose so perfectly. He won't have her hold still for too long, though. He's pretty experienced in the art of speed drawing. Once he's done some more rough sketches and a couple in more detail he gets out of his seat again, offering her his hand.]

If you don't mind standing I can have an even better look at you, I think.

[He'll help her to her feet if she likes and he won't be shy about aiding her in getting in the position he'd prefer, touching along the curve of a hip and a thigh, moving his fingertips up to settle a hand at the small of her back. In the end, he'd like her to be posed with one arm reaching up and one at her chest. He thinks that'd suit her very well.]

[She is fine holding a pose, where the body's natural movements of breathing and being alive aren't an issue. Karma could be made of marble for how still and flawless her body was.

But she was not, so when he offers her a hand, she takes it standing up with his help. Though she doesn't need it, she welcomes his touch. Especially when he begins to pose her, the way his fingers move across her skin, the way she feels a flush at where his hand settles on her back. Yes, she was having the time of her life being at this man's artistic whim.

She holds the pose gladly, hand adjusting so that she's almost cupping her breast but not. Giving him a sultry look, she holds still for him.]

This is much more fun than I expected.

[He hums happily at the compliment and as soon as he has her the way he wants he gets to work, pulling out the pastels to do a finished colored piece. He works quickly, keeping his eyes glued to her. He's focused totally on his craft, but still, he appreciates all the beauty he's able to take in.]

Is it? It could be more fun, I suppose. Maybe you could be my muse and we could have multiple sessions, if you like.

[He's maybe joking or serious, could be both. He raises his brows and partially sucks his lip under his teeth, then, as he scrutinizes the finishing touches. It's a lovely depiction, he thinks, but then he's always uncertain of his work.]

Would you like to have a look? I don't know if I can really do you justice, but... I tried.

[He stands to walk beside her and shows her a full-body likeness of herself, lifelike, yet with enough artistic interpretation to give it character in his own style.]

We could do a few more... or take a break. I'd definitely like to see you in some other positions, either way.

[As he stands beside her he touches her gently, placing a hand at her shoulder and rubbing his thumb just slightly across her skin.]

[Hums, pleased with the idea of being his muse, though she doesn't comment on it right away. Of course she would like it, to be viewed artistically, to give him inspiration, it appeals to her greatly. To feel him scrutinizing his work as he looks her over is a thrilling feeling.]

I would love to.

[She drops the pose as she looks over the piece, it was stunning. Enough likeness to be her but in an interpretation of his style and vision of her. His touch makes her shiver a little as she moves to lean against his shoulder with a charming smile.]

And what kind of positions would you like to put me in, Conrad? If you could have your way with a muse, how would you have me?

[Was the wording intentional? Probably, Karma isn't subtle in her flirting, but allows him to take it however he pleases.[

[A slight smile curls his lips as she looks over what he's created. Usually he's at least a little nervous when someone is viewing his work, but he feels pretty okay at the moment. He really put some passion into this piece.]

Hm. A prone pose would be quite nice. Or just seeing you in repose, maybe on your back, would be a treat, really. Or, ah, perhaps I could get on my knees and have a good look at you from a different vantage point. And, of course, you can always show me what sort of positions you'd prefer as well.

[The feeling of her leaning into him is quite welcome and he softly runs his hand along her bare back as she does so. He'll give her all the time she wants to look over his work and if she has any critiques he'll accept them gracefully.]

If I'm honest, all of that sounds very appealing.

[Karma is getting a nice thrill from not entirely knowing if he is flirting or being a serious artist, both would be welcome, but the line is fine between the two. Especially with her very naked and the poses he's proposing being very.. sexual in nature. But Karma is someone who can respect someone being passion driven and it was clear he was about his art.]

I might need some of your sketches as gifts for people. How scandalous would that be.

[Kissing his cheek, she practically purrs when he runs a hand across her bare back.] Though repose might be best done where one can rest comfortably on a bed, yes?

Hm. Good, that's- I'm glad...

[Oh, he's definitely flirting. As best he can, for the most part. However, he would also like to draw her in all the positions he mentioned, too, so... He can't buck his artistic side.]

I can certainly give you whatever drawings you'd like. Uhm. You can take whatever you want from this session. And... If you want more finished pieces we can do more. Sessions, I mean.

[The light kiss causes his cheeks to get a bit flushed and he makes a faint humming sound as he keeps his hand at the small of her back and just strokes gently with his thumb.] Right. Of course. Comfort is important, sure. I guess an office isn't really the right environment for certain... poses.

[While his office had the comfy chair and a chaise lounge that could maybe seat two people, they're definitely not the best choices for some of the poses he'd like to get her in.]

Thank you, you're wonderful to me, Conrad.

[She means it sincerely with how well he is spoiling her with offering his sketches and the like. It would be a lie to say she isn't enjoying playing muse to his artist, it gave her a wonderful sense purpose she doesn't get outside of her work.]

I would be delighted to pose more for you, to have more sessions. This has been very satisfying to be honest.

[There is a pause and she decides that sometimes being blunt is good and playing coy wouldn't get them anywhere right now, so she delicately adds:]

I won't lie, I thought this would be mostly sex, but I would be just as pleased to be drawn the whole time.

No need for thanks, really. I should be thanking you. I am really glad you enjoyed yourself.

[ Conrad doesn't feel he's offering her too much. He's quite grateful to be able to study such an eager model. For a moment has a rather satisfied smile on his face, but then she has him blushing and his cheeks puff up just a bit as he tries not to stammer too much.]

Oh. Well, I- It's not that I wouldn't like to- I mean... We could always work less next time and... just enjoy each other's company?

[Conrad's totally fine with taking things in that direction, it's just... His artistic vision sort of got in the way. And he tends to take things slow. Maybe too slow...]

[Luckily, Karma doesn't mind going slow, in fact, they sometimes even prefer it. Right now, this felt right to them. Taking it slow, see what happens next time.

They lean over and give him a kiss on the cheek before stepping away to grab their cloak once more.]

Hm, how about we go as the muse desires? I don't mind the pace we're going.

[Pulling on their cloak, they fasten it with their eyes on him the whole time.]

I should get back though, perhaps next time we can do this some more?

[Yes, lucky for him Karma doesn't mind that he's not exactly as talented as other Red Court vampires would probably be. But he had genuinely enjoyed himself. And it was good to get to know them a little better, and more intimately, even if Conrad isn't much for chatting while he's working.

He places a hand to his face after that kiss and his eyes follow as they cover up.]

Yes, of course. I really do appreciate you coming and allowing me to... draw you. Uhm. Here, just a second.

[Since they said they'd like to take some, Conrad puts most of the sketches and the finished drawing in a manila envelope There were just a couple of rougher sketches he really wanted to keep, so he saves those for himself.]

You can take them with you if you like. Or I can have them delivered to your place.

[Yes, it was lucky, Karma found his lack of seduction skills very charming actually. Something worth note. A pleased one at that. It sometimes was boring to go after someone that knew how to schmooze with the best of them. Usually didn't have any of the chase and as a cheetah, they liked the chase.

They blink for a second and then smile warmly, taking the envelope, making sure to run their hand along his when they do.]

I would love to, thank you. And we must definitely do this again. Perhaps in a bedroom next time, hm? For some of those... poses in repose, yes?
